As a donor to the Cen­ter, you have a de­ter­mi­nant role in en­abling us to con­duct high-qual­i­ty re­search and to ex­pand our ac­tiv­i­ties. Be­cause of this cen­tral func­tion, donors are in­vit­ed to all of our events as well as to spe­cial din­ners with our re­searchers, the con­fer­ence par­tic­i­pants, and keynote speak­ers.

Swiss Re Foundation

Founding Partner

The Swiss Re Foun­da­tion re­flects the so­cial and hu­man­i­tar­i­an val­ues of Swiss Re. Their guid­ing prin­ci­ple is em­pow­er­ing peo­ple and their com­mu­ni­ties to be­come more self-suf­fi­cient and re­silient to risk. The foun­da­tion’s strate­gic com­mit­ments aim to help re­al­ize the UN’s Sus­tain­able De­vel­op­ment Goals and con­trib­ute to Swiss Re’s mis­sion to make the world more re­silient.

Oth­er part­ners are im­ple­ment­ing or­ga­ni­za­tions like gov­ern­ments, NGOs, mul­ti­lat­er­al or­ga­ni­za­tions, and busi­ness­es that run pro­grams that our af­fil­i­at­ed re­searchers eval­u­ate and use our pol­i­cy guide­lines from re­search, as well as donors, in­clud­ing foun­da­tions and bi­lat­er­al or­ga­ni­za­tions who pro­vide fund­ing for eval­u­a­tions and re­search ini­tia­tives.

Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL)

The Ab­dul Latif Jameel Pover­ty Ac­tion Lab (J-PAL) is a glob­al re­search cen­ter, work­ing to re­duce pover­ty by en­sur­ing that pol­i­cy is in­formed by sci­en­tif­ic ev­i­dence.
